The Remediation group is shown to operators, approvers, admins and owners. Approvals only to approvers, admins and owners. Settings only to admins and owners. Badges show what needs attention: pending agents, the number of Act now findings, and the number of public services.
Top bar:
- the environment switcher (if your account is a member of several environments);
- search: "Search hosts, CVEs, packages…", also with Ctrl+K (⌘+K on a Mac);
- the theme menu: System, Light, Dark;
- the account menu: who you are and your role, Your sessions… and Sign out.
Keyboard shortcuts: press g and then o Overview, a Agents, i Inventory, f Findings, p Plans, r Reports, l Audit log.
A red banner KILL SWITCH ACTIVE across the top means no jobs are signed or run in this environment; see Kill switch.
The Overview page
Everyone with access to the environment can see this page.
Look up a CVE: type a CVE number to open its page: which hosts and packages are affected, and the fix.
Tiles:
| Tile | Shows |
|---|---|
| Act now | Findings in the Act now bucket, how many are known to be exploited (KEV), and the total open. |
| Agents | Online agents of the total. |
| Coverage | The share of installed packages for which SEK Systems has an authoritative vulnerability source. |
| Remediation | Plans awaiting approval, plans running, and whether the kill switch is on. |
Hosts by risk level: how many hosts are critical, high, medium or low. A host is:
| Level | When |
|---|---|
| critical | an exploitable vulnerability that is reachable from the internet, or an urgent attack path |
| high | a known exploited vulnerability (KEV), an exploitable vulnerability in software that listens on the network, or an open attack path |
| medium | a public exploit or a high chance of exploitation, or a vulnerability that should be fixed now |
| low | everything else |
Act now: the twelve open findings with the highest risk. Click one for its detail.
Hosts by distro: which operating systems are covered. Packages without an authoritative source never produce a finding, so this also shows where SEK Systems is blind.
Recent plans: the latest remediation plans and their state, with a New plan button. The flow is always dry run → approval → signed job → agent.
